Purpose of the Role

To deliver a truly personal and seamless service experience for our members and their families, creating moments of warmth, individuality and excellence at every opportunity. This role is central to maintaining Loveday Belgravia’s reputation as London’s most exclusive senior members’ club, ensuring that each interaction reflects our commitment to five-star hospitality and care beyond compare.

As Receptionist, you will play a vital role in creating a positive first impression of our home. You will provide a professional and friendly welcome to members, families, visitors, care professionals, and suppliers while supporting the smooth day-to-day administration of the home. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, exceptional customer service standards, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

 Responsibilities and Contribution

  • Assisting with front of house duties including arrivals, departures and billing, ensuring an elegant and professional welcome at all times.
  • Answer and direct telephone calls promptly and efficiently.
  • Manage visitor sign-in procedures and maintain security protocols.
  • Maintain a professional and immaculate reception area at all times.
  • Support hospitality in the reception area.
  • Support wider events, celebrations and family visits in collaboration with the Lifestyle and Hospitality teams.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, parcels, and deliveries.
  • Support the hospitality management team with administrative tasks, data entry, filing, and document preparation.
  • Order and monitor office supplies and reception materials.
  • Assist with maintaining electronic and paper-based records.
  • Communicate messages accurately and promptly to relevant departments.
  • Adhere to GDPR and confidentiality requirements at all times.
  • Follow all health and safety, safeguarding, and security procedures.
  • Ensure visitor and contractor records are maintained in accordance with company policies.

 Skills & Experience 

  • Previous experience in a receptionist, front-of-house, customer service, or administrative role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional appearance and telephone manner.
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
