Position Title: Head Hostess

Position Overview
For this exciting new project launching in summer 2025, the Head Hostess plays a central role in shaping the first and lasting impression of every guest. As the leader of the hostess team, you oversee reservations, strategic seating, and the overall welcome experience with elegance, precision, and warmth.
Acting as the face of the venue, you ensure a personalized, high-touch journey from the moment guests arrive to when they are comfortably seated. Beyond greeting, you coordinate front-of-house logistics, manage guest flow, and serve as a key liaison between the reception area and all service departments.
You thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments and bring a strong sense of leadership, poise, and organization to every shift. You are a true brand ambassador who communicates effortlessly with guests and takes pride in delivering elevated service experiences that reflect the brand’s energy and lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver a premium, warm, and personalized welcome to every guest in accordance with our brand standards
Supervise and mentor the hostess team, ensuring exceptional guest engagement and polished presentation
Oversee the entire guest journey from reservation to seating, maintaining consistency and seamlessness across all touchpoints
Manage the reservation system, waiting lists, and real-time seating plans to optimize guest flow and maximize efficiency
Coordinate closely with the floor, runners, kitchen, bar, events, and security teams to ensure smooth communication and guest transitions
Ensure reception and welcome areas are immaculate, inviting, and aligned with the brand’s premium image
Anticipate guest needs and provide thoughtful, solution-oriented responses to any requests or incidents
Maintain expert knowledge of menus, specials, events, and services—and share this confidently with guests and team
Handle VIP bookings, group reservations, and private celebrations with personalized care and discretion
Lead all opening and closing procedures for the reception area in line with SOPs
Participate in service briefings and operational meetings, sharing feedback and guest insights
Support the promotion of on-site offerings, brand activations, and seasonal events when appropriate
Ensure legal compliance, including age verification for alcohol service where applicable
Uphold and apply all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with professionalism and consistency
Represent the brand story and Nikki Beach Hospitality Group with elegance, confidence, and charm
Build guest loyalty by remembering returning guests and exceeding expectations through personalized touches
Continuously seek ways to improve guest flow, team collaboration, and overall service delivery
Required Qualifications and Competencies
Previous experience as Head Hostess or in a senior front-of-house position in high-end hospitality
Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills
High emotional intelligence and ability to make guests feel genuinely welcomed and cared for
Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multitask under pressure
Knowledge of reservation and table management systems (such as SevenRooms or OpenTable)
A polished, elegant presentation and confident presence
Deep understanding of luxury service standards and guest experience expectations
Fluency in English is mandatory; Spanish and/or German are a plus
Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and evening shifts
