Position Title: Floor Cashier
Location: Marbella, Spain

Position Overview
For this exciting new project launching in summer 2025, the Floor Cashier plays a vital role in ensuring the accuracy, transparency, and efficiency of all guest billing and payment processes. Acting as a key liaison between the service floor, bar, reservations, and Finance Department, you’ll ensure that every transaction is executed with precision, discretion, and care.
Detail-oriented and highly organized, you thrive in high-pressure environments and are committed to delivering a seamless final impression for our guests. Your integrity and professionalism set the tone for a trustworthy and refined guest experience at the point of payment.
Key Responsibilities
Process guest checkouts across various outlets (restaurant, beach, bar, cabanas) with speed and precision
Handle all types of payments (cash, credit card, vouchers) securely via the POS system
Ensure all orders, modifiers, and charges are correctly entered before generating the final bill
Collaborate closely with Waiters, Head Hostess, and the Reservations team to maintain billing accuracy
Manage complex transactions including split bills, payment adjustments, and special billing requests
Monitor and reconcile the cash drawer daily, maintaining proper float and balance
Prepare accurate end-of-shift reports, handovers, and POS documentation
Validate all discounts, voids, and comps with appropriate approvals and documentation
Follow internal SOPs for cash, tip handling, invoicing, and guest receipts
Support the coordination of large group payments, pre-paid packages, or private events
Maintain clean, organized, and secure cashier stations at all times
Communicate discrepancies immediately to the Finance Department
Ensure strict compliance with accounting controls and data protection standards
Participate in daily briefings and remain informed of pricing, promotions, and service updates
Uphold our brand with confidentiality, professionalism, and meticulous attention to detail
Required Qualifications and Competencies
Proven experience in a cashier or finance-related hospitality role
Strong numerical and data entry skills with excellent accuracy
High integrity and discretion when handling sensitive financial information
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, service-driven environment
Familiarity with POS systems and payment processing technology
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Fluency in English is mandatory; other languages are a plus
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings
