Position Overview
For this exciting new project launching in summer 2025, the Dishwasher plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and efficiency of the kitchen and back-of-house operations.
Though your work may be behind the scenes, your contribution is essential to the smooth flow of service and to upholding the high standards of cleanliness and professionalism that define our culinary experience.
Highly dependable, detail-oriented, and a team player at heart, you ensure all kitchen equipment, utensils, and dishware are impeccably cleaned, sanitized, and ready for use—supporting the kitchen brigade and helping deliver an exceptional guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
Clean and sanitize all dishware, cutlery, kitchen tools, and equipment using commercial dishwashers and manual methods
Ensure all items are dried, polished, and returned to their designated locations promptly
Maintain impeccable cleanliness of dish stations, floors, sinks, walls, and all kitchen surfaces
Use cleaning chemicals and PPE safely, following hygiene and food safety protocols at all times
Support the kitchen team by ensuring cooking utensils, pots, and pans are quickly cleaned and returned during service
Assist in sorting and disposing of waste, recycling, and compost in line with sustainability guidelines
Empty kitchen bins regularly and maintain clean stewarding and storage areas
Perform scheduled deep cleaning of walk-ins, dry storage, and back-of-house areas
Report any broken or missing kitchen items to the Head Chef or Sous Chef
Assist with receiving deliveries and organizing supplies in cold rooms, dry stores, and cleaning closets
Monitor dishwasher temperature settings and chemical levels to ensure proper sanitation
Stay calm and efficient during high-volume service, supporting the team without disruption
Maintain excellent personal hygiene and ensure a clean, professional uniform at all times
Participate in daily kitchen briefings and maintain awareness of service flow and priorities
Promote a supportive, respectful, and team-oriented kitchen culture
Represent the standards of our brand through back-of-house excellence and discipline
Required Qualifications and Competencies
Previous experience in a professional kitchen or stewarding role preferred, but not essential
Strong work ethic and a proactive, can-do attitude
Ability to follow detailed hygiene and safety procedures with precision
Good physical stamina and comfort working in a fast-paced, high-heat environment
High level of organization and cleanliness
Team-oriented mindset and a desire to contribute to the success of the kitchen
Fluency in English is mandatory; other languages such as Spanish or German are a plus
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
