Position Title: Lifeguard

Position Overview
For this exciting new project launching in summer 2025, the Lifeguard is responsible for ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of all guests in and around the pool and beach areas.
You serve not only as a vigilant guardian but also as a brand ambassador, creating a serene and secure environment that reflects the luxury and high standards of the brand.
With a proactive, calm, and attentive presence, you remain alert throughout your shift, prepared to act swiftly and professionally in any situation. You are physically fit, confident in emergency response techniques, and dedicated to delivering a seamless guest experience by maintaining both safety and cleanliness in aquatic spaces.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise all designated aquatic areas (pool and beach) to ensure guest safety and rule enforcement
Monitor guest activity and proactively prevent unsafe behaviour or conditions
Stay fully alert and perform regular safety scans while remaining visibly present throughout the shift
Administer first aid, CPR, and water rescues when necessary using proper life-saving techniques and equipment
Conduct daily inspections of safety equipment, pool conditions, and surrounding areas, reporting any hazards or malfunctions
Assist in monitoring pool chemistry and reporting imbalances to the appropriate departments
Ensure poolside and beachfront cleanliness, including adjusting loungers, clearing debris, and organizing towels
Provide friendly, reassuring communication with guests while enforcing safety protocols with professionalism
Collaborate with Security, Housekeeping, and F&B teams to support smooth guest operations and assist when needed
Support guests with children, mobility challenges, or special needs to ensure inclusive and attentive service
Maintain proper documentation of any incidents, near-misses, or guest injuries according to SOPs
Participate in regular safety drills, training sessions, and meetings to maintain readiness
Uphold the visual standards of the brand through excellent grooming and presentation
Promote a relaxed, luxurious, and safe atmosphere through your demeanour and guest interactions
Required Qualifications and Competencies
Valid lifeguard certification and First Aid/CPR training (updated and recognized in Spain)
Previous experience in a hospitality or high-end resort setting is preferred
Strong observational skills, physical stamina, and confidence in emergency response situations
Calm under pressure with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Highly responsible, punctual, and professional at all times
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
Fluency in English is mandatory; Spanish or other languages such as German are a plus
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings
