Job Position:
Marketing Coordinator

Overview:
The marketing coordinator is responsible for supporting and assisting the Managing Director with the development of Lucques Catering, The Larder Catering and The Larder Market’s marketing efforts. This role will be responsible for creating content, maintaining social media along with supporting event sales and operations as needed.

Reports to: Managing Director

Direct Reports: n/a

Responsibilities:
• Create sales templates, brochures, proposals.
• Update menus for the sales team and maintain database in Caterxpert.
• Prepare menus for events, tastings, buffets, stations.
• Develop content for our websites and social media.
• Source opportunities for Lucques Catering to expand our presence in the LA event planning market.
• Establish relationships with premier event spaces.
• Join relevant networking groups and attend events periodically
• Provide event support as needed.
• Extend brand awareness and client outreach through active selling, networking and industry-related activities.
• Attend all company meetings as required
• Develop Sales Materials necessary to maintain and grow company sales volume.

Qualifications:
• 1-2 years experience as a marketing coordinator or similar responsibilities within the hospitality industry.
• Attention to detail and follow-through are critical skillsets for this role.
• Precise and accurate communication for all work.
• Bachelor's Degree in marketing, hospitality, event planning or restaurant management.
• Proficient working knowledge in software to manage daily workload including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Caterxpert Catering Software.
• Must have a driver’s license and vehicle.
