 We are looking for a skilled and confident Assistant Head Housekeeper to join our team.  The ideal candidate will be passionate about the industry and the work they do, is an enthusiastic team player, able to maintain standards while keeping an eye for detail providing the guest with an unforgettable stay.  Proven experience as an Assistant Head Housekeeper is desirable.

What you’ll be doing

 

●        Ensuring knowledge of the hotel, guests and services are maintained at all times

●        Ensuring that support, training and continuous assessment is provided to all members within the department

●        Leading and be a part of the team, giving clear direction, motivation and developing each team member by way of the job chats,            appraisals and objectives

●        Assisting in managing and controlling the Health and Safety Policy in line with legislation

●        Liaise with external suppliers and agencies

-          Situated in the heart of Devon, Lympstone Manor sits between Exeter and Exmouth and overlooks the Exe Estuary. Our address             is Lympstone Manor, Courtlands Lane, Exmouth, EX8 3NZ.

 

Can I get to Lympstone Manor via public transport?

-          You can take the coastal train from Exeter St. Davids or Exeter Central train stations, take the Exmouth train and exit at                             Lympstone village. It is a 15 minute walk to Lympstone Manor from the train station.

 

Do I need the right to work in the UK?

-          In line with the requirements of the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK.             As part of the recruitment process, you will be asked to provide documented evidence of eligibility.

 

Do you provide employee accommodation?

-          The hotel may be able to offer on-site staff accommodation, in order to help the newest members of the team re-locate and                    settle in.
