M Restaurants are looking for an Executive Chef to join our growing group of exceptional restaurants. As Executive Chef for M Restaurants you would be expected to lead from the front with your passion for the highest quality of food, exceptional controls on COS and play a key part in Menu development. As an Executive Chef you will be expected to develop the senior Chef team in M to manage their brigade to the best they can be and have our Values at the core of everything you do. You will have an obsession with the Beef we serve, the way it is delivered, stored, treated and cooked along with all other menu aspects.

Reporting to: Head of Food Operations & Culinary Director

Key Role Priorities for Executive Chef of M Restaurants

·         Quality of the food, consistency and presentation of food served in M Restaurants

·         To oversee and ensure both COS and COL are inline with company budgets

·         To make sure 5 star level of hygiene is achieved in M Restaurants

·         To be fully responsible for the Head Chefs

·         To create an work environment that fosters young talent and promotes hard work and loyalty through clear development and progression planning with the talent team

Essential Skills and Essential Experience for the Executive Chef role 

• Has a minimum of 3 years’ experience of running multi-unit operations

• Has branded and high volume fresh food restaurant experience

• Food safety level 3

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Cooked at 3 Rosette (or similar) experience or above

• Has extensive beef knowledge
