Location: RLMK INC (7043 W Pershing Ct, Visalia Ca, 93291)
Job Type: Full-Time 
Department: Human Resources/Payroll
Reports to: Office Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR Assistant with Payroll Experience to join our Human Resources team. This role combines traditional HR support functions with payroll responsibilities, ensuring accuracy and compliance in both employee relations and compensation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and review payroll accurately and on time for all employees, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

  • Maintain payroll records and documentation in an organized and confidential manner.

  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including employee documentation.

  • Maintain and update employee records in the iSolved- MyOfficePro and Harri system.

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies.

  • Support the implementation of HR initiatives, policies, and procedures.

  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and HR policies.

  • Collaborate with finance and accounting departments to reconcile payroll-related data.

  • Assist with audits and reporting for internal and external purposes.

  • Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll and labor regulations.

  • Assist with office supporting duties as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

  • 2+ years of experience in payroll and HR-related functions.

  • Knowledge of payroll software & systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, Gusto, etc.).

  • Strong understanding of federal, state, and local payroll regulations.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Preferred:

  • Experience in HR & Payroll.

  • Professional certifications such as PHR, SHRM-CP, or FPC/CPP.
