In-House Security Officer

Position: Unarmed In-House Security Officer

We are looking for a dependable, professional, and observant In-House Security Officer to help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for our customers and employees.

This is a direct-hire position with our company and will provide security at our restaurant. We are looking for someone who can maintain a strong professional presence while treating customers and employees with respect.

• Maintain a visible security presence inside and outside the restaurant
• Monitor the dining room, entrances, parking lot, and surrounding property
• Conduct regular interior and exterior walkthroughs
• Identify and address potential safety or security concerns
• Professionally address disruptive or inappropriate behavior
• Use communication and de-escalation techniques whenever possible
• Assist restaurant management with disturbances, trespassing, and other security concerns
• Contact law enforcement or emergency services when appropriate
• Help protect employees, customers, and restaurant property
• Document significant incidents and communicate them to management

• Must be at least 18 years old
• California BSIS Proprietary Private Security Officer (PSO) registration preferred
• Candidates willing and eligible to obtain required PSO registration may also be considered
• Prior security, loss prevention, retail, restaurant, hospitality, or related experience preferred
• Strong communication and de-escalation skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Good judgment and ability to remain calm in difficult situations
• Reliable and punctual
• Comfortable interacting with the public in a busy restaurant environment
• Must be able to pass all required background and licensing requirements

The ideal candidate is calm, confident, respectful, and highly observant.
