An exciting opportunity has arisen for an HR Coordinator, a newly created role, to join our Head Office team at MJMK, based in Fitzrovia, London. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced Hospitality start up, in a time of unprecedented growth.

In this newly created HR Coordinator role you will help build and shape the HR function from scratch as well as having a unique opportunity to build a dynamic work environment, combining Head office and site level functions, reporting into the Head of People. 

Therefore, previous experience and a working understanding of the UK hospitality Industry is preferred.

 HR Coordinator - What you will do:

• Acting as contact for HR queries within Company policies, procedures, and practices
• Provide effective and timely employee relations support to the restaurants, Bars and Head Office
• Preparing management reports as required e.g. monitor absence and employee turnover and identify effective action and solutions working with the HR Team
• Work with the Head of People to put in place core strategic processes such as an effective appraisal system to support employee retention 
• Deliver ad hoc projects as requested by the Head of People/Founders

 HR Coordinator   - Who you will be:

• CIPD level 3 will be advantageous 
• Have previous generalist HR experience as an HR Assistant in Hospitality focused role
• Demonstrate excellent administration and organisational skills with a high level of accuracy.
• Be able to work with a range of people at a variety of levels, able to be empathetic, self-aware and use candour and diplomacy when required with the ability to be assertive and calm under pressure.
• A good working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and related PC packages is essential for this role
