General Manager

MJMK was founded in 2013 by Jake Kasumov and Marco Mendes. Following corporate careers, the duo chose to pursue their passion for food and drink.

MJMK now own and operate a collection of award-winning restaurants, including Southern Portuguese concept Casa do Frango, Santiago Lastra’s Michelin starred KOL, and Nuno Mendes’ critically acclaimed restaurant, Lisboeta.

We have ambitious future plans and we are looking for a General Manager with 3 years experience in fine dining or Michelin-starred restaurants, to lead the front of house team and take this inspirational restaurant to the next level. Previous experience in an independent restaurant would be an additional asset.

As a General Manager at MJMK, we’ll offer you:

·          Up to £60,000 salary package, dependent on your experience.

An MJMK General Manager is:

·      A hands-on, natural leader who can recruit, train and develop the whole restaurant team, including supporting the Head Chef to do the same with the kitchen team.

·      Embodies hospitality, is passionate and knowledgeable about food and wine, and keen to learn and develop further.

·      An enthusiastic and proactive individual, who is happy working the key services, putting the guest experience first.

·      Commercially astute and comfortable taking ownership for the financial aspects of the restaurant.

·      Able to work with integrity, excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.

·      Capable of creating and building strong relationship with the locals, suppliers and founders.
