Description

The Multi-Unit Manager for Hellcat Subs LLC DBA Jersey Mike's Subs oversees several restaurants, working with individual store General Managers to set performance goals….and achieve them.  

 The District Manager is responsible for all aspects of the Restaurant Operation in their assigned portfolio.  Marketing execution, Daily Operations, Selection, Training and Development of their teams…and Delivering financials results. 

The District Manager attends and leads bi-weekly meetings, works with the Director of Finance, the Director of Human Resources, the Director of Training, and the Managing Partner to ensure the business is operating properly and growing.  

The DM candidate will need to successfully complete our 8-12 Training program…then successfully operate one restaurant for 3- 6 months (meeting all criteria and objectives).  This will earn the candidate to opportunity to interview for an Open District Manager position. 

Position summary:

The Multi-Unit Manager coordinates and supports all activities within the assigned geographic area. Selects, Trains, Coaches and Supports General Managers. 

Plans and sets business goals. 

Focuses on growing the business through Developing Professional Teams.   

District Managers work 50 hours per week and must have open availability.

                                     




                                                                                                                                                                                                 Salary & Benefits:


     $70,000 - $80,000 

          2 weeks of Paid Vacation annually 

5 Paid Sick Days annually

Biweekly Gas Reimbursement commensurate to the geographic territory.   

Quarterly Bonus with up to $750 per store in the portfolio.  $15,000.00 or more annually depending on the size of the district.

A Comprehensive Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance Plan.  75% of the cost is paid by Hellcat Subs, LLC.

 

Tasks and responsibilities:

Selects, Trains, and Coaches Shift Managers, Assistant Managers, and General Managers on JM restaurant operations.  Leads the and executes Objectives to grow each location’s sales and profits.

Monitors all training processes within the assigned district to ensure each trainee/employee has the tools to be successful at Hellcat Subs.

Develops, leads, and executes Training/development plans for existing managers which path those individuals to promotions and more responsibility.

Provides leadership and engages managers and staff to gain their commitment to our Operating standards and Code of Conduct at Jersey Mike’s and Hellcat Subs LLC.   A Sub Above.

Works with Hellcat Staff to achieve Sales & EBITDA goals using available reports to identify opportunities.

Prerequisites:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred.          

                                                                                                                                                                                             Experience & skills: 

·       3-5 years of successful, operational management experience in a leadership position in a restaurant environment.  

·       Preferably 2-4 years of credible multi-unit experience in the restaurant business.

·       Excellent Verbal & Written communication Skills.

·       Ability to manage Time and Territory, multiple priorities, and Director required timelines and reports.

·       Business Problem Solving and Conflict Management Skills.  The ability to assess Situations and the Savy to collaborate with the team to select effective solutions.

·       Math and Accounting skills.   Strong understanding and orientation in Financial Reports, Restaurant financial priorities and mechanics.

·       Strong Decision-Making skills.  Demonstrated ability to select and build teams.

                                        

Physical:                              

·       Physically able to work on your feet in a Jersey Mike’s restaurant for 8-10 hours a day.   

·       Open Availability to work a variety of days, weekends, and Shifts. (Opens, Closes and Mid Shifts)

·       Able to operate a computerized Point of Sale System/cash register. 

·       Position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
