The role…

We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Assistant to join the team. As Maintenance Assistant you will be confident in all basic maintenance skills. Painting and decorating to high standard is a big part of the job. You will need to have a keen eye for detail, be an effective communicator and possess excellent knowledge of Health & Safety regulations. Someone who is organised in their work and reacts quickly and effectively when required. Working as part of a team, you will be required to liaise directly with outsourced contractors and suppliers.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Daily walk of the building, Report to Duty Manager / Maintenance Manager.

• Room Checks

• General Maintenance work i.e painting

• Attend morning & afternoon meetings

• Daily, Weekly, Monthly & Annual check on all products

Attributes / Experience

Essential

• Basic knowledge of Plumbing, Electrics and Painting and Decorating/ Carpentry

• Health & Safety Legislation

• Time Management and clean work ethics

• Ability to work alone and as part of a team

• Adaptability / Problem Solving.

Desirable

• Pervious Hotel Experience

• Knowledge of Pool/Spa

• Knowledge of Legionella Testing
