Criterion Hospitality is seeking a Maintenance Shift Engineer to carry out repairs, servicing, and preventative maintenance across eight residential buildings in South London. You will diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and general maintenance issues to ensure safe and efficient property operations.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform planned and reactive maintenance on electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
  • Diagnose faults and carry out necessary repairs.
  • Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance issues efficiently.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to maintain building systems.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a maintenance engineer in residential or commercial buildings.
  • Relevant qualifications in electrical, plumbing, or mechanical maintenance (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and hands-on experience with building systems.
  • Ability to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.
