The Queen’s Hotel is recruiting for a Part-Time Painter & Decorator (16 hours per week, over 2 days).
Join our team and play a vital role in maintaining the appearance and upkeep of our hotel, ensuring a welcoming environment for all our guests.
Key Responsibilities:Carry out painting and decorating tasks to a high standard across guest rooms and public areas.
Complete touch-ups and finishing work to keep spaces looking fresh and well-maintained.
Support general upkeep duties as required, working closely with the Maintenance Manager and wider team.
Ensure all work is completed safely, hygienically, and in line with statutory regulations.
Maintain an organised and tidy workspace, and store tools and materials correctly.
Adhere to Health & Safety and Fire Safety procedures at all times.
Previous experience as a painter and decorator, ideally in a hospitality, commercial, or similar setting.
Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver a professional finish.
Ability to work independently and manage your workload within allocated hours.
A team player who can liaise effectively with other departments.
Flexibility to adapt tasks as required to support hotel maintenance needs.
