The Queen’s Hotel is recruiting for a Part-Time Painter & Decorator (16 hours per week, over 2 days).

Join our team and play a vital role in maintaining the appearance and upkeep of our hotel, ensuring a welcoming environment for all our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out painting and decorating tasks to a high standard across guest rooms and public areas.

  • Complete touch-ups and finishing work to keep spaces looking fresh and well-maintained.

  • Support general upkeep duties as required, working closely with the Maintenance Manager and wider team.

  • Ensure all work is completed safely, hygienically, and in line with statutory regulations.

  • Maintain an organised and tidy workspace, and store tools and materials correctly.

  • Adhere to Health & Safety and Fire Safety procedures at all times.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Previous experience as a painter and decorator, ideally in a hospitality, commercial, or similar setting.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver a professional finish.

  • Ability to work independently and manage your workload within allocated hours.

  • A team player who can liaise effectively with other departments.

  • Flexibility to adapt tasks as required to support hotel maintenance needs.
