Shift Engineer The May Fair Hotel


Description

We are currently recruiting for a Shift Engineer to join our Maintenance Team at The May Fair hotel.


Overview:

  • As a Shift Engineer, you will maintain and use in-depth professional knowledge to ensure that all maintenance colleagues are provided with central support, the necessary materials and equipment to perform their job effectively.
  • In this role you will perform electrical, plumbing, decoration and carpentry tasks.
  • Coordinate and prioritize the distribution of repair-maintenance orders and planned-maintenance orders.
  • Ensure that equipment is operated effectively and efficiently by directing and supervising the operation of all running equipment.
  • Provide employees with the orientation and training needed to understand expectations and perform job responsibilities. 
  • Ensure company financial goals & security standards are adhered to.

About You:

  • Minimum of 2 years as engineering experience.  
  • Multi-skilled with formal engineering qualification to NVQ Level in an electrical, carpentry or mechanical subjects 
  • Nationally recognised apprenticeship in an engineering discipline.
  • H&S knowledge. 
  • Excellent command of English language, ability to communicate effectively with guest and fellow colleagues.
