Description
We are currently recruiting for a Shift Engineer to join our Maintenance Team at The May Fair hotel.
Overview:
- As a Shift Engineer, you will maintain and use in-depth professional knowledge to ensure that all maintenance colleagues are provided with central support, the necessary materials and equipment to perform their job effectively.
- In this role you will perform electrical, plumbing, decoration and carpentry tasks.
- Coordinate and prioritize the distribution of repair-maintenance orders and planned-maintenance orders.
- Ensure that equipment is operated effectively and efficiently by directing and supervising the operation of all running equipment.
- Provide employees with the orientation and training needed to understand expectations and perform job responsibilities.
- Ensure company financial goals & security standards are adhered to.
About You:
- Minimum of 2 years as engineering experience.
- Multi-skilled with formal engineering qualification to NVQ Level in an electrical, carpentry or mechanical subjects.
- Nationally recognised apprenticeship in an engineering discipline.
- H&S knowledge.
- Excellent command of English language, ability to communicate effectively with guest and fellow colleagues.
