We're looking for a practical and proactive Maintenance Operative to help keep our hotel safe, well-maintained and welcoming for our guests and team members.
This is a hands-on role where you'll support the day-to-day maintenance of the hotel, carrying out repairs, preventative maintenance and general upkeep across the property.

Training and development opportunities
Carry out planned preventative maintenance across the hotel
Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
Assist with the upkeep and presentation of guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house spaces
Support the Maintenance Lead and Property Manager in maintaining a safe and compliant environment
Conduct routine inspections and identify maintenance issues
Carry out minor repairs, decorating and general maintenance tasks
Assist contractors and suppliers when required
Maintain maintenance records and complete documentation accurately
Ensure tools, equipment and work areas are kept safe and organised
Help create a safe, secure and well-maintained environment for guests and team members
Previous experience in a maintenance, facilities, property or trade-related role is desirable
Good practical skills and knowledge of general building maintenance
Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
Understanding of health and safety requirements
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Positive and professional approach to work
Good communication and teamwork skills
Flexible and willing to support the wider hotel operation when required
