Malai, figuratively meaning “cream of the crop,” in a North Indian language, is an ice cream company that draws inspiration from globally-sourced whole ingredients, aromatic spices, and unexpected twists on old classics. Our super-premium ice cream is handcrafted, eggless, and churned with very little air, resulting in purer, more robust flavors, as well as the lightest, creamiest textures you can find.
Since 2015, we have been introducing high-end, luxurious ice cream with unique flavors like Rose with Cinnamon Roasted Almonds and Masala Chai. We hold our business to the highest standards in every aspect from sourcing only the best ingredients to producing top quality products. Our products are currently available in many specialty food stores across the Northeast, Texas, Northern California, online marketplaces, and popular events like Smorgasburg. In our fourth year of business, we opened our own brick and mortar store in Cobble Hill, and are quickly growing our wholesale and retail operations, as well as our catering events. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing company at an early stage, make a real impact and help shape our future and direction.Malai, figuratively meaning “cream of the crop,” in a North Indian language, is an ice cream company that draws inspiration from globally-sourced whole ingredients, aromatic spices, and unexpected twists on old classics.
