RECEPTION MANAGER

 As the Reception Manager, you are not just the face of our establishment – you are the superstar who sets the stage for every guest's unforgettable experience!

Here is the mission of a Reception Manager in Mama London: 

Elevate our guests' experiences from "good" to "OMG!" by creating a welcoming and efficient reception area. Keep the energy high, the smiles even higher, and make every guest feel like they have just stepped into their own personal oasis 

  • Work closely with the Front of House Manager to oversee all front desk operations and guest service activities. 
  • Act as a Brand Ambassador of our hotel  
  • Rota management 
  • Payroll
  • Hiring and Training  
  • Monitoring and assigning E learning  
  • Shop and Stationery stock management  
  • Enhancing Guest Satisfaction: ensure that guests have a positive and memorable experience during their stay and going above and beyond to exceed guest expectations. 
  •  Build strong relationships and providing exceptional customer service. 
  • Work closely with Mama Squads to ensure a seamless guest experience. Provide training and guidance to your squads on guest service standards, communication skills, and handling guest interactions. 
  • Collaborate with various departments, including front desk, housekeeping, and food and beverage, to ensure a cohesive guest experience 
  • Live up to the brand core values and deliver small moments of happiness to our guests  
  • Lead the Reception Team to deliver exceptional arrival and departures experience and complete regular quality checks during check in, check out times and lobby presence  
  • Deal with guests challenges and resolving any complaints promptly and efficiently 
  • Take care of VIP Amenities and VIP guests. 
  • Create SOP'S 
  • Act as the main point of contact for all Hotel Emergencies 
  • Have a vast knowledge of Hotel Reception procedures to assist the team 
  • Monitor and maintain safe and secure working environment for all hotel employees, visitors and guests, and report any issues 
  • Walk about of the property and picking up details which require attention as well as Health & Safety matters which need action. 
  • Respond to guest reviews on multiple review site and monitor the guest feedback 
  •  Have broader understanding of guest satisfaction, operational excellence, and continuous improvement practices to ensure a holistic approach to managing the guest experience. 

 

Our Ideal Reception Manager should have: 

  • Have at least 2-3 years of progressive experience in a Hotel Front Office environment on management role. 
  • Previously worked as Assistant Front Office Manager or Reception Manager in a 4* hotel/ 5* hotel is a must 
  • Able to work both Day and Night 
  • Flexible working hours 
  • Experience working for Lifestyle Hotel brands /Accor/Ennismore Hotel brand would be an advantage 
  • Knowledge of hotel PMS Opera Cloud
