maman is a french bakery, café and leading lifestyle brand founded in 2014 by owners elisa marshall & benjamin sormonte, with locations across north america and canada. inspired by family traditions, and the highest quality ingredients, maman offers a selection of delicious baked goods {including their famous nutty chocolate chip cookie}, coffee, fresh breakfast, and lunch options spanning from hearty salads & sandwiches to savory quiches. in addition to hosting intimate events, maman has partnered with leading brands for partnerships and activations. from baby showers and birthday parties to engagements, they're able to help celebrate customers & make new beautiful memories.
We’re looking for a passionate, Dallas-based marketing coordinator to join our team! Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, passionate about marketing, connecting with the community, and creating beautiful memories with our guests over delicious food and beverage. They have experience in carrying out marketing initiatives from A to Z, have an eye for detail, and thrive in new environments and connecting with new people. They’ll be responsible for managing maman’s marketing presence in the TX market, supporting all aspects of the maman brand (retail, catering & events), and being a support to our ops and in store teams. This team member would work closely with our marketing team, ops team, and be an ambassador of the brand. P.S. must love cookies!
What you’ll do:
LOCAL MARKETING
Research on new and existing neighborhoods
Creating and managing targeted lists for local contacts
Reaching out to local BIDS and cultivating relationships with local community groups & businesses.
Responsible for bi-weekly BID blasts for the TX market and being a liaison between maman & our local marketing contacts
Finding, vetting & coordinating local opportunities for maman
Managing donation requests & fulfilment for the TX market
Ensuring maman branding, marketing material, and POS signage standards are upheld with all local opportunities & within all locations
Working with and being a support and liaison to store leaders on local marketing, retail & events
Fulfilling store requests, retail needs, and managing inventory via Supplies Lafayette & maman office stock.
Assisting with partnership needs for all stores, and acting as a liaison for store materials
Leading store opening needs for NY+ market locations and assisting with other markets as needed.
Fulfilling new store needs, prepping, packing, printing needs for new locations
Carrying out local marketing plans for each new store opening
DIGITAL MARKETING
Updating & maintaining Yext and digital profiles for locations (focused on but not limited to NY+ markets)
Leading maman’s digital marketing efforts across LinkedIn, with consistent posting, analyzing performance, bi-monthly recaps,
Website & graphic edits for menus, homepages, and department specific pages
Conducting research & seeking innovation tactics to utilize for our Linkedin & Website pages
EVENT & CATERING COORDINATION
Research on new & existing potential event clients & create list of local TX based event planners to create relationships with
Work alongside the events team & store leaders to assist in store walk throughs with potential clients as well as execution of events
Assisting events & catering with any marketing related needs and/or offsite events
What we're looking for:
1-3 years of marketing experience
Experience with microsoft suite
Experience with capturing content for social media
A self starter who has an eye for detail, is proactive & resourceful
A collaborative team player who is excited to grow with maman
You have a good instinct of knowing what problems to solve on your own, and which ones need to be escalated
Flexibility with schedule as needed for special events & openings.
Hospitality & marketing are your passion areas, you make a point of keeping up with the latest industry trends
