The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity to join our senior management team as Group Head of Health and Safety, helping shape this function across our hotel group.
The Brownsword Group have created arguably the most iconic collection of historic countryside and city centre hotels, all wonderful properties set within beautiful grounds and cities, all with their own stories to share. Generosity, quality and welcoming hospitality is what they do very well. Being exceptional hoteliers has been the core of the operation, creating a successful hospitality business.
Location: This role is based from our central office in the beautiful heritage city of Bath, where you would work from 1-2 days per week. Outside of those days, regular travel to our hotels will be a key part of this position (you will need your own transport for travel, as some of our locations are in stunning, but in remote locations). We will of course cover your travel expenses and you can stay at the properties you visit if needed.
Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday.
Role: Reporting to the CEO, the role will have wide ranging responsibilities that require an experienced expert with a proven track record in successful multi-site leadership, in all areas of health and safety management, ideally within a hospitality setting. This role will provide both strategic and hands on leadership of health and safety management for our group of 13 hotels across the UK, ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance and quality. This includes supporting the General Managers and senior central managers to have effective and planned health and safety programs in place in all areas of our properties.
