We are Galeta Bakery, our story started in 2011, with a market stall stacked high with home baked cookies. We’ve grown a little since then but our values have never changed.

Today we are a thriving award-winning wholesale bakery bringing the finest breads, viennoiserie, cookies, cakes & brownies to market. We supply some of London's finest eateries, independent cafes, museums, and cinemas. All our products are handcrafted and baked fresh each morning using 100% natural ingredients.

About the Role

We want our bakery to be the best in London and you will be a key part of this journey. Working alongside Michelin starred Chef Yvonnick Lalle we are looking for 3 passionate and capable people to head our Patisserie and our Viennoiserie teams as well as lead our Production.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the section and be part of a team

• Production planning and execution

• Bake cakes and pastries

• Confident with mixing, scaling and baking

• Using commercial machinery & hand shaping doughs

• Reliable in following procedures and recipes in bulk

• Inspect baked goods to ensure they are of the highest quality

• Work safely and to a high standard of health & hygiene

Hours & Shifts:

• We offer flexible working - shifts or hours - across the day and week

• Full time is 45 hours per week - 5 shifts of 9 hours each

• Permanent contract

Package

Based on your experience with training given and regular reviews

• Up to £45,000 salaried full time

• Team Incentives

• £1,000 signing on bonus after 3rd month!

About you

• You will have a passion for good food and quality produce and take pride in your work

• You will have at least 3 years experience working within a commercial bakery or kitchen

• You will enjoy working as part of a team and have a willingness to learn and develop
