The Role:

We’re looking for an experienced and dynamic Food and Beverage Events Manager to join our team and oversee the operations of all our corporate, banqueting, street food, and private hire events. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for hospitality and event management who thrives in a changing, creative environment.

Key Responsibilities

·       Event Management: Lead the food and beverage operations for a variety of events, including corporate functions, banquets, private parties, and street food festivals. Ensure seamless service delivery from start to finish.

·       Team Leadership: Manage, motivate, and train a dedicated team of staff, ensuring they provide exceptional customer service at all times.

·       Client Liaison: Work closely with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and requirements for each event. Be the main point of contact for all food and beverage-related enquiries and ensure client satisfaction.

·       Menu Costings and Development: working alongside the head chef to produce cost-controlled menus and follow them through to print

·       Budget & Cost Control: Oversee food and beverage budgets for each event. Ensure cost-effective operations without compromising on quality

·       Logistics & Planning: Coordinate the setup, service, and breakdown of events. Ensure all necessary equipment, staff, and food are in place for a smooth operation.

·       Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food and beverage quality and service. Monitor customer feedback and adjust as necessary to continuously improve.

·       Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all food safety and health regulations are adhered to, including training staff on safe practices and hygiene standards.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Food and Beverage Manager or in a similar role within corporate events, banqueting, or private hire.
  • Strong organisational skills with a hands-on, can-do attitude.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and solve problems on the fly.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple events simultaneously
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

We Offer:

  • The chance to work at one of the UK’s most exciting new cultural venues.
  • A vibrant and supportive team environment.
  • Opportunities for professional development and career progression.
  • Staff benefits including ticket discounts and wellbeing initiatives.
