he AC Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. This role requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to safety and quality. Key Responsibilities:
- Installation:
- Install new HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, heat pumps, and ventilation systems.
- Ensure all installations meet manufacturer specifications and local codes.
- Maintenance:
- Perform regular preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Clean and replace air filters, inspect ductwork, and check refrigerant levels.
- Repair:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system malfunctions and failures.
- Repair or replace faulty components, including motors, compressors, and thermostats.
- Ensure timely and effective resolution of service requests.
- System Monitoring:
- Monitor HVAC systems to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures while performing tasks.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.
- Customer Service:

Qualifications:
- Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in HVAC or related field preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience as an AC Technician or in a similar role.
- Experience with various HVAC systems and controls is highly desirable.
