Key Responsibilities of the Restaurant Captain:
  • Supervises the day-to-day operations of the restaurant to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.

  • Leads the restaurant team during shifts, assigning duties and monitoring performance to ensure high standards.

  • Welcomes and interacts with guests in a professional and friendly manner, offering menu recommendations when needed.

  • Handles guest feedback and resolves issues efficiently to maintain high levels of satisfaction.

  • Maintains hygiene, safety, and service standards at all times.

  • Supports the restaurant manager in meeting department goals and ensuring operational efficiency.

  • Assists in training and mentoring new team members to uphold service excellence.


Requirements of the Restaurant Captain:
  • Previous experience in restaurants or hospitality, preferably in a supervisory role.

  • Strong leadership skills and a collaborative spirit.

  • Passion for delivering excellent guest service and a warm, welcoming personality.

  • Ability to stay calm and solve problems under pressure.

  • Strong communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).

  • Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant technology.
