Executive Chef for large restaurant operation



MRAC Restaurant Group is launching an original culinary and entertainment concept, blending fine dining with an immersive theatrical experience created by a world-class team from the Broadway, immersive multimedia, and fashion industries.  The restaurant will feature four unique dining experiences: a pair of five course Pre Fixe dinners, a full service bar, and a cafe open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.  

 

MRAC Restaurant Group is seeking an Executive Chef to take part in the opening of a full, immersive, dining experience in NOMAD.  

 

An ideal candidate will have several years of experience in a professional kitchen.  Preference will be given to candidates who have previously worked in the field of experiential dining or other large, complex operations.

 

Candidates will manage daily kitchen activities, including overseeing staff, aiding with menu preparation, ensuring food quality and freshness, and monitoring ordering and stocking. 

This position will take part in hiring and training all full-time staff ahead of the Q4 2022 opening.  Prior experience in both building and leading a team is essential.

 

Candidates must be able to operate under pressure and communicate clearly.  Candidates must be able to solve problems, think creatively, and build and lead a team in a fast paced, highly demanding environment.  

 

Salary starts at $90k, commensurate with experience and track record.
