Events Assistant – The Birley Clubs

 

£26-28k per annum 


An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Events Assistant to join the Member Events Team at The Birley Clubs based in Fitzrovia, London.

 

The Birley Clubs operate some of the world’s most iconic private members’ clubs; Annabel’s, Mark’s Club, George, Harry’s Bar and Bath & Racquets Club. The Birley Clubs have created a paradise of sophistication, unparalleled quality and service in the heart of Mayfair. 

 

As Events Assistant you will report to the Head of Events, playing a key role working across all clubs, planning world-class events and helping to develop a diverse events programme for The Birley Clubs.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting Events Managers and Executives by assisting with event planning
  • Attendance at events in the Clubs to ensure smooth running an effective communication with suppliers and operations teams (weekdays and some weekends )
  • Assist event Managers with post event reporting
  • oversee the management of back of house storage and movement of events equipment, costumes and props to and from storage - all while keeping inventory updated across our various storage sites
  • updating Salesforce with upcoming events, keeping track of changes and ensuring the Member Events Team and Private Events Team work collectively within the venues
  • Give full cooperation to any colleagues requiring assistance in a prompt, caring and helpful manner and to be flexible in assisting around the clubs 
  • Deliver adhoc tasks as requested by Event Managers and the Head of Events

We are ideally looking for candidates who:

  • Worked in a similar fast paced tole
  • Experience within the events industry or a highly administrative role is required
  • High level of multitasking and exceptional organisational skills
  • strong knowledge of Office suite and Google Drive
