A bit about what you will be doing:
The Role: The Marketing Executive assists on the execution of a wide array of projects. We are looking for someone creative and passionate about hospitality and marketing. The role requires an individual who is proactive, efficient and a strong communicator, ensuring a smooth and efficient flow of information, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
To support on the execution of a wide range of marketing tasks including new openings, established restaurant marketing plans, Club D&D, digital and online projects and events/ launch parties.
To provide a comprehensive support service to the Marketing Director, including diary management, organising meetings, preparation and printing of information and files
Ad-hoc admin tasks including typing correspondence, printing and binding documents
Provide support to restaurant marketing teams when appropriate
To assist with booking travel arrangements such as trains, hotel accommodation and itineraries
Support with the scheduling of meetings, tracking of attendees, and following up on meeting documents
Desk research for new openings / projects
Administering monthly expenses
Identifying and implementing restaurant website and other online updates (calendar, offers, events, press, blog,)
Assisting with new partnerships for restaurants of the D&D group and special events.
Execution as directed of individual marketing initiatives including collateral production, liaison with suppliers, liaison with PR
Frequent and timely social media support across identified restaurants
To be the central point for marketing queries.
To regularly review and ensure all external communication, websites, 3rd party online & collateral is up to date and relevant and delivered in a timely manner (Guides, London & Partners, Walpole, TimeOut, TripAdvisor etc)
Timely reporting & measurement of group marketing initiatives and the collating of monthly reports.
To ensure all group marketing material is up to date, and reflective of the business in terms of quality and accuracy; for both online and hard copies. Ensure that marketing material is readily available in appropriate channels.
Key Requirements:
Previous experience of working in a similar role – Marketing or PR experience necessary
Excellent organisational / secretarial / administrative skills
Computer literacy including full knowledge of Microsoft Word / Excel / Outlook / PowerPoint
Excellent written English / grammar
Excellent communicator at all levels
Able to demonstrate a flexible and proactive approach to workload
Immaculate personal presentation
Interest in restaurants and hospitality or events
