Description

Masala Zone, a little bit about us:

Our food is uniquely from the true sources of Indian food – the gourmet homes & street stalls across India’s regions.

This exciting Grand Brasserie is located in the 1873  historic Criterion Restaurant building, opposite the iconic Eros Fountain, in the heart of London.

We unusually combine a panoramic range of proper Indian food - pioneering street food, thalis (the balanced family platters), flavourful grills, regional curries, biryanis - as well as breakfast, brunch & afternoon tea.

The position:

Bartender for a dispense bar for a variety of cold and hot drinks, ensuring each drink reflects our standards of flavour, presentation and quality.

Training is provided, but some previous experience is preferable.

Weekly hours:

Minimum 20 for part-time, including weekends and minimum 35 for full-time.

A mixture of shift patterns is available; however, the breakfast shifts start as early as 6.30 am.

In addition, we offer great benefits

  • Training on and off the job & National Apprenticeships
  • Free staff meals on duty
  • Restaurant discounts and vouchers
  • Recommend a friend, incentives up to £1,500

You will need

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Understand high standards of customer service
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in a table service restaurant
  • Must be available to work evenings and weekends
