Maxime’s is NYC’s newest private member’s club from entrepreneur Robin Birley; owner of prestigious private member’s clubs 5 Hertford Street and Oswald’s in London. Maxime’s mission is to provide exceptional and discreet service for our members through unparalleled hospitality. Our aim is to make members feel as though they are in a private home, enjoying outstanding food and wine surrounded by stunning decor.  

Bar Servers embody the bar atmosphere and culture of Maxime’s, delivering bar service efficiently and accurately while building relationships with members. Bar Servers work closely with all front- and back-of-house team members to uphold standards and create a welcoming atmosphere, elevating Maxime’s brand and service standards at all times.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintains complete knowledge of Maxime’s policies and procedures and ensures that all practices and policies are being upheld. 
• Maintains thorough knowledge of all food and beverage items in our Zodiac Lounge to assist members with any dietary concerns or issues, including any dietary preferences and/or food allergies 
• Ensures service is provided in a timely, professional, and effective manner 
• Processes food and beverage orders as needed, ensuring accuracy when entering orders into POS 
• Adheres to all Department of Health and safety standards related to food handling, hygiene, and alcohol service 
• Supports all front-of-house team members in providing exceptional hospitality

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Ability to be flexible with job demands and open-minded when being asked to complete tasks. 
• Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to run the restaurant. 
• Ability to operate with grace under pressure. 
• Ability to move or handle equipment throughout the restaurant generally weighing up to 50 pounds. 
• Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates. 
• Ability to stand for up to 8-10 hours a day.
