We are currently recruiting for a Meeting and Events Head Night Striker to support the Meetings and Events Operations team at The Londoner. Our Meetings and Events Operation team are delivering high end events and meetings in a luxury hotel environment.

Overview:

  • Lead and supervise the overnight Meeting & Events Striker team.
  • Coordinate all overnight room setups, breakdowns, and furniture movements.
  • Ensure meeting rooms, conference suites, and event spaces are prepared in accordance with event specifications and banquet event orders.
  • Conduct quality inspections to ensure all areas meet The Londoner's luxury standards.
  • Collaborate with Banqueting, AV, Housekeeping, Engineering, and Operations departments.
  • Monitor and maintain event equipment, furniture, and storage areas.
  • Ensure health, safety, and manual handling procedures are followed at all times.
  • Support the delivery of large-scale conferences, corporate events, private functions, and luxury social events.
  • Manage overnight team scheduling, training, and performance standards.
  • Respond efficiently to last-minute client and operational requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records and handovers for daytime operational teams.

About You:

  • Previous experience within Meetings & Events, Banqueting Operations, Conference Services, or Event Logistics.
  • Experience leading and motivating a team within a luxury hospitality environment.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and work effectively under pressure.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and safe manual handling practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible approach to working overnight shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • A passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
