Marketing Manager (on-site)

About Us
Mercato Metropolitano is London’s first sustainable community food market and
cultural hub. Since launching in 2016, we’ve grown to three sites across the
city, each showcasing the best in independent, artisanal food. We also host a
packed calendar of events, from live music and workshops to large-scale
cultural festivals.
The Role
We’re looking for a hands-on, organised Marketing Manager to help deliver and
promote events across our sites and lead marketing activity for both
existing locations and new site launches. This busy, fast-moving role will suit
someone flexible, focused, and ready to get stuck in.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan and run marketing campaigns across digital, email, website and events
• Track performance and adjust campaigns as needed
• Support the planning and delivery of events across our sites
• Create content for social media, newsletters and the website
• Write press releases, marketing copy and other communications
• Update and maintain our website
• Manage CRM and marketing database tasks
• Organise and maintain our digital asset library on SharePoint
What We’re Looking For
• Experience managing marketing and events, ideally in hospitality or a similar
sector
• Strong copywriting skills and a confident communicator
• Digitally savvy, with at least 3 years’ experience in hospitality or
lifestyle marketing
• Collaborative and able to work well across teams and with external partners
• Focused and adaptable, able to manage competing priorities
• Skilled in Photoshop and Illustrator is a bonus
• Familiarity with ticketing platforms like Design My Night and Eventbrite
• A good grasp of current marketing trends
The role reports to the Head of Marketing.
