Job Title: Bartender
Location: Mercato Metropolitano E&C
Job Type: Temporary
Salary: £13.85 p/h
Job Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere while preparing and serving high-quality beverages.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to recipes and customer preferences
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area
- Check customer identification to ensure legal drinking age compliance
- Handle cash, card payments, and operate the POS system accurately
- Monitor customer behavior and promote responsible drinking
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations
Requirements
Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role preferred
Knowledge of cocktail recipes, drink mixing, and bar equipment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Basic math and cash-handling skills
Relevant certifications (e.g., responsible alcohol service) are a plus
