Mighty Love Food is looking to hire a full time cook at it's location in Boston's Financial District. The restaurant is an open kitchen concept with a lot of customer engagement. We are plant based, though not strictly vegetarian or vegan, and we care about the quality of our ingredients, educating our customers about health, nutrition, and composting/recycling (we care about people health and environmental health). The right candidate must be comfortable working with a small team of dedicated pros, engaging customers, cleanliness, and preparing foods from scratch. A working knowledge of uncommon nutrient dense ingredients is helpful but not a requirement. The restaurant is open Monday -Friday from 7am - 4pm. This position does not require any evening hours, weekends, or major holidays. Compensation is very competitive and is based on your level of experience, knowledge, and ability to participate in a meaningful manner to the success of the business. You will work closely with, and report directly to, the Executive Chef on a daily basis. We expect a high level of professionalism from any candidate. Mighty Love Food plans on growing to multiple locations over the next few years and all strong team members will grow with the company (position, responsibility, and compensation).
