Role and Responsibility
All Back-of-House Team Members must maintain clean the food preparation equipment and work area, and organize, load and unload inventory, and put merchandise away. Prepare burritos for the burrito program, prep and maintain proper levels of food cleanliness and safety. The Burrito Cook tasks may include, ensuring that ingredients are stored properly and maintaining an inventory of food and other items needed. In addition to preparing the burritos, they may also cut or carve meat, assemble, measure, and mix other ingredients.

  • Follows and maintains food safety, HACCP process   ·        
  • Daily communication and effective communication   ·        
  • Monitoring quality and cleanliness of food and store environment   ·        
  • Completes other duties as assigned by supervisor   ·        
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills   ·        
  • Great problem solving and priority setting skills   ·        
  • Excellent relationship building skills both   ·        
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are a must
Role Qualifications:

  • Ability to work well independently and in a team environment   ·        
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize task   ·        
  • Takes pride in serving guests and providing exceptional customer service   ·        
  • Takes pride in preparing quality food made to Miguel’s standards   ·        
  • Ability to lift up to 30+ pounds   ·        
  • Ability to do repetitive motion (mixing the beans)   ·        
  • Ability to prepare and cook food (Example – lettuce, cheese, tomato)   ·        
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time   ·        
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
