We are seeking a detail oriented Bar Manager to help us execute one of the most well-regarded dining
experiences in the country. The successful candidate will take ownership for the daily preparation and
execution of the minibar experience, use superior leadership skills to coach and mentor a highly skilled
staff, and be prepared to work enthusiastically in a demanding but creative work environment. This is an
exempt management position that reports to the General Manager.

We are looking for candidates with;
• Gracious hospitality and sincerity in all interactions with guests and coworkers
• Infectious curiosity to explore innovative products/techniques and fine dining service standards
• Articulate and effective ambassador of avant-garde cuisine and experiences

Professional Abilities
• Understands and leads consistent service execution by using a variety of management tools, including
staff training, mentorship, and predictable discipline
• Inspires others to improve their work by drawing on high-level of service techniques, product
knowledge, training and a greater understanding of restaurant/cuisine history.

• Master of classic cocktails in their history, creation, ability to train others and use them as creative stepping stones.
• Help to develop and maintain a positive team dynamic in an extremely detail oriented environment.
• Always look to improve processes, learn new efficiencies and continually encourage others do the same through collaboration.

Basic Qualifications
• Culinary Arts/Hospitality or Bachelor’s Degree
• 3 to 5 years experience at a comparable level restaurant
• Demonstrated ability to work long hours in high pressure situations with consistent results
• Basic computer and restaurant management skills (inventory, costing, HR, scheduling)
• Ability to train, coach, and evaluate multiple levels of employees
• Ability to work beyond the regular schedule to support special events, emergency staffing needs,
unexpected service situations, etc.
• Fluent in English; Spanish language skills a plus

Abilities & Working Conditions
This position will spend 100% of the time standing or walking.
Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours in length.
Must be able to exert well-paced ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously.
Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.
May be required to lift trays of food or food items weighing up to 30 lbs. occasionally.
Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests and employees.
Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
Required to work nights, holidays and weekends.
