Description

Miriam Restaurant is seeking an experienced and passionate Restaurant General Manager to lead our team and ensure exceptional dining experiences for our valued guests. As a well-established and renowned restaurant, Miriam Restaurant offers a unique and upscale dining atmosphere with a focus on exceptional food and service.


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including front-of-house, back-of-house, and administrative tasks.

  • Manage and lead a diverse team of professionals, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.

  • Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and service are consistently met.

  • Collaborate with the executive chef to develop and update menus based on market trends and customer preferences.

  • Maintain inventory levels, control costs, and optimize profitability through effective budgeting and financial management.

  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, open communication, and professional growth.

  • Implement and enforce health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation practices.

  • Uphold brand standards and ensure the restaurant provides a welcoming and memorable experience for guests.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a General Manager in a high-end or upscale restaurant environment.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • In-depth knowledge of food and beverage operations, including wine and cocktail programs.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Solid understanding of financial management, P&L statements, and cost control.

  • Knowledge of local health and safety regulations.

  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.


Salary Range: $85,000- $95,000
