Position Summary:
The Sushi Chef at MIRU plays a lead role in delivering an exceptional and artful sushi experience, upholding traditional techniques with modern precision and presentation. Inspired by world-class standards such as Nobu, this position demands mastery of fish handling, knife skills, and plating, as well as strong leadership and team coordination within the sushi bar.
Tasks/Responsibilities:
Minimum 5 years of experience in a high-volume sushi-focused kitchen.
Expert knife skills and full knowledge of sushi and Japanese culinary techniques.
Previous experience in luxury, fine dining, or Nobu-style restaurants preferred.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
ServSafe certification or equivalent food handler’s license required.
