Area Manager - Premium Country Pubs


Description

As an Area Manager with our Premium Country Pubs collection you’ll lead a district of 12 beautiful bespoke businesses in the South Midlands & South West area, where no two days are the same.

The district starts in the north at the much loved ‘Barnt Green Inn’ – with lofty timbered ceillings and a devoted local following, down to Cheltenham and the through the rolling Cotswold's to the famous ‘Swan Inn’ at Broadway – a quick reach over to Cardiff, then heading south to Bristol & Bath including the ‘Bathampton Mill’ famous for its gorgeous riverside setting and finishing in picturesque Newton Abbot at the famous ‘Coombe Cellars’ with breathtaking  panoramic views of the Teign Estuary. This district really is one of a kind, and while the sites are all wonderfully unique- what unites them is a dedication to exceptional guest service, the very best of the premium food and drink and really caring about our people.  Through your passion, experience and leadership, you’ll inspire your teams to grow and develop, serve up great guest experiences and smash targets each and everyday. But most importantly- you'll know how to have fun and celebrate success as a team when all the hard work pays off.

What will I be doing…?

Your job will be so varied and rewarding that this little taster will never do it justice, but we'll give it our best shot.

  • Making sure your teams bring their ‘A’ game when it comes to food, drink and service quality, always delivered with passion and pride
  • Leading a diverse team of roughly 350 across 12 sites in the South Midlands and South West Area.
  • Driving people succession through your district through coaching and mentoring
  • You’ll spend time across your district supporting your teams, making sure they’re the best they can be and working together to deliver results to be proud of
  • Driving a commercial culture- where delivering consistent high standards, sales and profit are at the heart of everything we do
  • You’ll ensure your teams maintain a safe, clean and risk-free environment
