We are looking for a Full-Time Kitchen Porter to join our busy kitchen team. As a Kitchen Porter, you’ll play an essential role in supporting our chefs and ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly, efficiently and to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

This is a 40-hour-per-week role, working over 5 days.

What you’ll do
  • Support the kitchen team with the smooth running of the kitchen
  • Wash and clean dishes, pots, pans, utensils and kitchen equipment
  • Ensure all kitchen areas are kept clean, tidy and organised
  • Assist with the cleaning of floors, surfaces and equipment
  • Remove and dispose of waste safely and efficiently
  • Assist with deliveries, including storing food and kitchen supplies correctly
  • Ensure kitchen equipment and work areas are maintained to a high standard
  • Support chefs and the wider team with preparation and other kitchen duties when required
  • Follow all food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures
  • Work efficiently to keep up with the demands of a busy restaurant
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout service and at the end of each shift
