We are looking for a Bartender to join the team at Gino D’Acampo at Leeds Marriott Hotel. You’ll play an important role in creating a memorable dining experience for our guests, delivering warm and engaging service while preparing and serving a fantastic selection of drinks in a vibrant Italian restaurant and bar environment.

Whether you’re crafting cocktails, recommending the perfect Italian wine, pouring a refreshing aperitivo or simply enjoying a conversation with a guest, you’ll help bring the Gino D’Acampo experience to life.

• Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to a consistently high standard
• Create and serve cocktails, wines, beers, spirits and Italian-inspired drinks
• Take accurate orders and provide friendly, efficient and attentive service
• Use your knowledge and passion for drinks to make recommendations and enhance the guest experience
• Engage with guests and create a warm, welcoming and memorable atmosphere
• Maintain excellent knowledge of the drinks menu and confidently answer guest questions
• Ensure the bar is fully stocked, clean, organised and ready for service
• Work closely with the restaurant team to ensure seamless service between the bar and dining areas
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and hygiene throughout the bar
• Process payments accurately and responsibly handle cash and card transactions
• Follow all licensing, health & safety and responsible alcohol service procedures
• Support with the opening and closing of the bar, including stock replenishment, cleaning and preparation

• A great communicator who genuinely enjoys connecting with guests
• Previous bartending or hospitality experience is desirable
• A passion for drinks, cocktails and delivering excellent service
• An interest in Italian food, drinks and hospitality would be advantageous
• An organised operator who can remain calm and professional in a busy restaurant environment
• An outgoing and engaging personality
• A positive mind-set and a genuine passion for creating memorable guest experiences
• An impeccable eye for detail
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A flexible approach to working hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays
