 The Mo’ Bettah’s support team is seeking an experienced Manager, FP&A to support the finance and analytical needs of the companyThis position will play a critical role in overseeing the existing FP&A analyst team and continuing to build and enhance the finance function within the companyThe Manager, FP&A will report directly to the Director, FP&A and work cross-functionally with other departments (Operations, Marketing, Supply Chain, Development, etc.). This role will be in-person at our Lehi Office. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Detailed understanding of financial budgeting and forecasting concepts and financial modeling, ideally in a restaurant or multi-unit retail environment 
  • Solid understanding of GAAP and financial statements 
  • Strong critical thinking skills, with an ability to identify trends in financial data and develop creative solutions to address negative trends 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with senior management 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment 
  • 5+ years of Financial Planning and Analysis experience, ideally in a management role while overseeing a team 
  • Support planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting 
  • Develop Models for new business ideas, products, and channels 
  • Automate reporting and KPIs through tools such as Power BI 
  • Coach and train financial analysts reporting to this role 
  • Support the monthly financial close process 
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives surrounding data quality and systems capability 
  • Prepare variance and trend analysis, and provide proactive recommendations for addressing variances to budget 
  • Provide ad hoc analytics

Education and Experience Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, Economics, or related field 
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in related role 
  • Strong experience with Excel, SQL, and PowerBI  
  • Experience in a multi-unit restaurant, retail, or consumer-facing business strongly preferred 
  • Or a combination of education and experience to meet the requirements 

Working Conditions: 

Position requires qualified individuals to see, hear and speak (verbally and audibly). Required to ascend and descend stairs; sit and stand for extended periods of time, lift up to 50 pounds, bend, stoop and kneel. May be required to work outside in various weather conditions. May be required to work on a computer for extended periods of time including viewing the screen, using a mouse and manipulating a keyboard with hands, reaching with arms. May be asked to drive or travel by car, air or other transportation for business purposes. Must be able to function effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced working environment. Must be able to report to work responsive, free from sedatives, and in a non-sedative state. Must disclose prescribed pharmaceuticals and/or OT that may impair or affect the ability to perform the essential functions of the job. Natural and regular stressors occur on the job.
