Coordinators at MOM’s have full responsibility for determining the product mix and controlling COGS for their specific categories. This includes setting the overall strategy for the category as well as the nuts & bolts of making it happen. Some responsibilities include:

Offering customers an incredible selection
Being a leader in the marketplace
Keeping categories fresh with new items & concepts; identifying and staying ahead of product trends
Analyzing and adjusting product mix by category, with an eye on merchandising & working closely with MOM’s Planogrammer and Pricing Analyst
Growing productive vendor/distributor relationships, with a win-win attitude
Controlling COGS for product categories
Maintaining a proactive/reactive approach to big picture situations, such as supply chain and ingredient issues
Determining assortment for new stores and incorporating new local brands as needed
Communicating pertinent information to regional & store teams

Qualifications:

Do you have at least 4 years of experience leading processes and/or people in grocery or another relevant industry?
Are you comfortable with Excel, Pivot tables, and more?
Do you enjoy the challenge of drawing conclusions from sales data?
Does building vendor relationships and negotiating sound fun to you?
Do you have a passion for label reading? Are you a stickler for ingredients?
Are you highly organized, detail-oriented and can easily prioritize?
Are you comfortable managing unpredictable situations while still meeting hard deadlines?
