Marketing and Events Intern

Learn the inner workings of MOM’s Communications team! Some responsibilities include:
Being creative- producing marketing content including website updates, copy-editing of marketing materials, newsletters, providing support on social media channels
Event planning and execution- coordinate details for Grand Openings including staffing, scheduling vendors, day-of logistics, etc.
Being a part of the team- work closely with MOM’s Communications Coordinator, as well as connecting with our store Team Members.

social media and online presence strategies
to write in a clear concise way for marketing purposes
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
Coachable, hard-working demeanor with a positive attitude and the ability to multitask.
Ability to work a flexible schedule inclusive of weekends (2 weekends during summer 2020) Travel will be required. Costs will be covered. Intern will be given approximate dates during the interview process.
An interest in marketing and social media with an ability to write concisely.
Must be able to work a total of twenty (20) hours per week from May 2020 to August 2020, with the possibility for extension into the fall.
Experience working with Google Suite (Gmail, Google Drive, Docs, Sheets).
Experience working with Mail Chimp or WordPress a plus.
