Our fast growing and dynamic company is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Payroll Specialist to join our team and enhance our work environment. The person in this position will be responsible for a variety of activities including but not limited to payroll processing, administration, and reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Processing payroll - adding paid-time off, reviewing payroll reporting, garnishments, reimbursements, etc.

  • Reporting  - to include PTO/sick accrual, overtime, payroll adjustments, employee count, health insurance count, etc. 

  • Providing support to employees and answering questions

  • Managing time and attendance

  • Overseeing payroll profile maintenance.

  • Collaborating with the HR department to ensure accuracy of payroll data generated by ADP.

  • Maintaining a strong system of organization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business-oriented field of study, or equivalent work-related experience.

  • 2-4 years of Payroll Analyst experience preferred.

  • Detail-Oriented, organized, self-starting, and professional.

  • Working knowledge of office and accounting software programs required.

  • Proficiency with Excel: working with a lot of data, filters, sorting, pivot tables, VLOOKUPS, and macros.

  • Experience with ADP  and multi-state processing  preferred

  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, be articulate in explanations and communicate in clear, positive fashion with customers, vendors, management, and staff at all times.
