We are seeking an ambitious Talent Acquisition Specialist who will work closely with applicants and hiring managers throughout the recruiting experience. This position will support our team in its hiring efforts by coordinating all steps in the process and creating an exceptional candidate experience. This position is based out of the Central Store Support office in Rockville, MD. Prior experience in recruiting or human resources preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities:
Be the point of contact for applicants and ensure a positive candidate experience
Thoughtfully review applications and conduct phone interviews
Guide and advise hiring managers on hiring policies and procedures
Work closely with the applicants and hiring managers to ensure an efficient and timely process
Track and keep candidate files accurate and updated information in our applicant tracking system
Answer applicant questions regarding employee benefits, compensation and other related information
Review job descriptions, prepare and publish job postings on all platforms
Attend MOM’s recruiting related events and new store openings
Perform other ongoing recruitment/HR related projects as assigned
Handle sensitive information and preserve confidentiality with discretion
Must have:
A warm, friendly, and professional phone manner
Ability to effectively present information verbally and in writing
Ability to contribute to process improvements and see the bigger picture
Strong organizational skills
Experience in a fast-paced, environment
Ability to prioritize tasks that change frequently and manage unexpected demands
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
Dependable, able to follow instructions and respond well to direction
