The E-Learning Specialist is responsible for leading the HIVE reporting program and working with the E-Learning Manager and CSS Training Team to design, create and evaluate meaningful training material in the learning management system. This is a mid-level position, located out of our Central Store Support office (CSS)


Responsibilities:

  • Leads the Learning Management System (LMS) reporting program and submits completed reports to the E-Learning Manager for review. 

  • Collaborates with E-Learning Manager to draft and produce training materials as needed.

  • Monitors and manages employee contributions and observation queues on The Hive. 

  • Meets at least annually with content stakeholders to ensure materials are updated and current; manages tags and searchability features for digital content.

  • Proactively manages the HiveSupport system and replies to email requests, test attempt resets, and login issues as they come in. 

  • Meet weekly with the E-Learning Manager and Training Teams to discuss current areas of focus and current training initiatives.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • 1-2 years experience using a Learning Management System (LMS)

  • Experience with Google Business Suite & Microsoft Office (specifically Excel/Google Sheets)

  • Experience working in a retail environment 

  • Experience with teaching and creating content for a range of audiences

  • Ability to work collaboratively on interdisciplinary projects with a variety of other teams

  • Excellent attention to detail, especially with communication (written and verbal) and meeting deadlines

  • Strong level of self-motivation with the ability to prioritize tasks that change frequently and manage unexpected demands

  • Dependable, ability to think creatively and takes initiative to solve problems

  • Advanced knowledge of Google Slides and Excel (data importing and formatting), a plus

  • Knowledge of basic coding/formatting and using embedded content (to include docs, slides, youtube/videos, etc), a plus

  • Working understanding of  Premiere Pro, Camtasia or other video editing software, a plus
