Total Rewards Analyst


Description

The Total Rewards Analyst is the subject matter expert on benefits and compensation for MOM’s Organic Market. This position is responsible for facilitating all benefit and compensation programs, and developing analytical approaches to continuously improve plan offerings. The Total Rewards Specialist is also key to the success of daily operations of benefit and compensation plans. This is a mid-level, hybrid position reporting out of our Central Store Support office (Rockville, MD). 


Responsibilities:


  • Administer compensation and benefit programs in a seamless, accurate and organized manner while delivering an exceptional employee experience (ex. open enrollment, new hire enrollments, qualifying life events, changes and terminations).

  • Process benefit & compensation changes and ensure systems are kept accurate and up to date.

  • Lead Store and CSS wage review process, adhere to timelines and project deliverables and work closely with stakeholders (including CFO, CCO, COO and Director of Employee Experience).

  • Maintain the compensation platform (Salary.com), ensure scorecards are accurate and benchmark positions.

  • Complete research and analyze benefit offerings to ensure MOM’s stays competitive in the market. Present findings in a clear and concise manner to leadership.

  • Use advanced analytics capabilities to pull reports, analyze data, highlight trends and recommend metrics that will generate meaningful insights.

  • Respond to employee benefit or compensation related questions/issues (within 24-48 hours) via phone, email, chat systems, Zendesk and promptly fulfill requests.

  • Collaborate with insurance brokers, vendors and stakeholders regarding claim tracking, analysis and during benefit renewals.

  • Proactively communicate and educate employees on MOM’s benefit offerings through town halls, open enrollment, emails/internal intranet posts and other related communication channels.

  • Compile monthly HR reports to stores, ensuring data is accurate and benefit elections occur on time.

  • Sends notices, handle communication and ensure deadlines/reports are met for benefit/safety/compliance reporting (i.e. Medicare Part D, 1095-C, OSHA 300A).

  • Administer benefit and wage surveys, evaluate and present results concisely to leadership.

  • Establish and maintain benefit checklists, templates and processes to ensure a seamless employee experience.

  • Complete audits to ensure accuracy of system data and processes.

  • Collaborate with the Training Team to maintain the HIVE Benefit & Safety resources, posts and ensure policies and program information is accurate, equitable and easy to find.

  • Handle sensitive employee information with the utmost confidentiality and discretion.

  • Ensures benefit/compensation related mail, scans and documents are filed accurately.

  • Perform other department tasks and projects as needed.  


Must have:


  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience

  • 3-5 years’ experience in HR, with focus on benefit and compensation

  • Proven experience with running reports and compiling data from various systems, to highlight trends and generate meaningful insights that drive decision making

  • Proficiency with Google Suite (specifically Excel), Microsoft Office

  • Excellent attention to detail, especially with communication (written and verbal) and meeting deadlines

  • Ability to prioritize tasks that change frequently and manage unexpected demands

  • Dependable, follows instructions and takes initiative to solve problems

  • Interpersonal skills to handle sensitive situations and confidential information

  • Experience in a fast-paced work environment

  • Professional appearance and demeanor

  • Interest in company culture and desire to grow in the HR field

  • Experience with HRIS software such as Dayforce, a plus

  • Experience with benchmarking and managing a compensation platform (ex. Salary.com), a plus

  • Knowledge of total rewards in a retail setting, a plus

  • Advanced Excel skills, a plus

  • SHRM- CP, PHR, Certified Compensation Professional or Certificate Benefit Professional Certification, a plus
